Sheila Slusarek

I am the proud mother of three beautiful married daughters, three great son in laws and of course the best six grandchildren anyone could wish for.

I was born in Toronto and lived in an apartment above a hardware store on Bloor Street with my parents and older sister and brother. At age ten my parents moved us to RR 3 Orillia in the very dark and quiet country. I will never forget the total shock of that move. I then attended a “four room” school called Ardtrea Public School. Years later I was happy to get my first summer job at Big Chief Lodge and I loved it. After I left high school I worked at a West Bend in Barrie then Canada Life in Toronto and my last clerical position was regional secretary for Emergency Health Services, Ambulance Services Branch in Barrie.

As much as I enjoyed the various positions I held, I knew they weren’t my true calling, so I became a realtor. It was absolutely one of the best decisions I’d ever made. Meeting so many people and working directly with them is incredibly rewarding. Whether I am helping them find their dream home, first time starter home, investment property or downsizing everything is extremely personal and exciting. I believe my job is to be there every step of the way and negotiate any rough patches and resolve any possible issues for my clients 24/7.  For over 30 years I have enjoyed my chosen profession and am extremely grateful for all the wonderful clients/friends I still work with today. Their trust, loyalty and continuous referrals never cease to amaze me. I’m here, I’m ready and I look forward to assisting in any way I can.
