Wide Format Account Manager

Kempenfelt Group is looking for a high energy, experienced account manager to complement our recent expansion into wide format printing. This position will concentrate on selling POP displays, posters, banners, wraps, and floor/window graphics. In addition the successful candidate will also be expected to promote our other printing and fulfillment services to their wide format accounts.  If you are a personable, outgoing, knowledgeable sales professional with a positive mentality and a true desire to succeed, we want to talk with you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish a professional working relationship with clients and develop a core understanding of their unique business needs.
  • Achieve target revenue and gross profit contribution.
  • Aggressively and strategically prospect for new business opportunities.
  • Negotiate and position deals to ensure successful closes and high win rates.
  • Build and monitor sales pipeline to ensure continuous population and movement of near and long-term opportunities.
  • Demonstrate comfort with industry knowledge and easily integrate and apply these perspectives to solve business needs.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead, manage or enlist the support of others in the pursuit of business goals.
  • Stay current with market and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the wide/large format digital print business.
  • Proven track record of growing sales revenue and meeting budgets.
  • Strong understanding of the print industry.
  • Prospecting and business development experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • University or College Degree.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong relationship building and consultative skills.

Manager of Creative Services

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise, direct, mentor and inspire all members of the design team.
  • Be the “go to” person in our company as it relates to all design matters for our sales and customer service teams.
  • Establish a professional working relationship with our clients and develop a core understanding of their unique business needs.
  • Collaborate with the data and interactive team to leverage client’s data in a creative way.
  • Lead the sales effort of design services and be the chief liaison between our clients and the design team.
  • Create design estimates and proposals and ensure projects stay within budget.
  • Maintain and balance the work schedule and delegate projects accordingly.
  • Implement and maintain high quality and performance standards of the team.
  • Procure and organize copy writing, translation and photo shoots when required.
  • Stay current with market and industry developments.
  • Proactively encourage and implement a professional development program for your team and the company as a whole as it relates to design.
“Must Have” Requirements:
  • University degree or College diploma in design.
  • Over 10 years of design experience with 3 years of management experience.
  • Proven track record of creating original design solutions.
  • Expertise in Adobe Suite CS4+, QuarkXpress, web development such as HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Flash
  • Experience working with a Project Management software
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
